Axel's age is unknown, but somewhere in the range of 18-22. He can't be much older than the Final Fantasy cast. This makes him still a bit questionable, but as I wrote in one of my first KH2 drabbles, I really don't think it makes any difference to Nobodies what you look like -- you're a Nobody, and that means you're more than the person you used to be, however old that person was. (Technically, Roxas is one and Axel is like, six!)
To be frank, Roxas is more competent than half of OXIII and I think that means a lot more than whether or not Demyx has two feet in height on him. XD
